Every year, Lebanon, OR has a Strawberry Festival. It's kind of our thing.
We have parades (a kiddie and a grand parade), a carnival, a country fair, etc.
It is a wonderful, family friendly experience that brings the whole community together during one special weekend. (The first full weekend in June.)
And, every year there are a group of 5 high school senior girls that have the privilege of representing our community as ambassadors for the Strawberry Festival.
It is an incredible experience for these young ladies to be able to build connections within the community, be role models for young children, and to proudly represent Lebanon in and around the surrounding areas.
I was blessed to be able to be on the court back when I was in high school.
Several years ago... ;)
So needless to say, I was thrilled when they asked me to be the photographer for the court this year. These ladies are absolutely wonderful, beautiful, and as sweet as can be.
The community members that have the job of choosing Queen will definitely have their work cut out for them!
*A HUGE thank you to the Samaritan Center who allowed us to use their gorgeous facilities to take these photos!
